General Admission Guidelines

A

Admission Period

  1. Admissions are open annually before the start of the academic year, typically from February to April.
  2. For mid-year admissions, consideration is given only in exceptional cases, subject to seat availability.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Admissions for Grade I require the child to be at least six years of age by March 31st of the admission year.
  2. For Grade XI, eligibility is based on successful completion of Grade X from a recognized board and meeting minimum grade requirements.
  3. Special criteria or merit requirements may apply to certain grades depending on demand and seat availability.

Admission Priority

  1. Priority is given to siblings of existing students, children of alumni, and staff members' children.
  2. Preference is also extended to students from the local community and those who demonstrate commitment to the school’s values.

D

Stream-Specific Criteria (for Grade XI Admissions)

  1. Science Stream: Minimum grade requirements (mentioned in prospectus) in Science and Mathematics subjects in Grade X.
  2. Commerce Stream: Minimum grade requirements (mentioned in prospectus) in English and Mathematics in Grade X.
  3. For both streams, students are required to attend an interview or counselling session with the academic team to confirm subject suitability and career orientation.

Admission Process

Follow these five simple steps to secure your child’s future at our premier residential campus.
Application Submission

Submit the completed form with required documents. A non-refundable application fee is required at this stage.

Interaction & Assessment

Grades I–V have an informal interaction. Grades VI–XII undergo a written assessment in core subjects followed by a Principal's interview.

Review & Selection

The Admission Committee reviews assessments and academic history. Selected candidates receive an official offer via official communication.

Acceptance & Enrollment

To confirm, parents must complete the fee payment and submit all final documents to receive the official school welcome packet.

Orientation Program

New students and their parents attend an orientation session that familiarizes them with the school’s policies, curriculum, and co-curricular activities.

Admission for Special Programs

Skill Development Program (Grades VI–IX)

  1. Students interested in the school’s skill development program, including multimedia, fashion design, and robotics, undergo a brief skills assessment.
  2. Enrolment is based on available seats and students’ demonstrated interest in the programs.

Language Options

  1. For Grades IX and X, students can choose a second language from Malayalam, Hindi, or Arabic. New admissions are guided on language choices as per the school’s policy and student’s background.

Fee Structure and Payment Policy

  1. The fee structure for the academic year is shared with parents during the admission process.
  2. The fee payment schedule includes details of term fees, optional fees (for activities or extra classes), and hostel fees if applicable.
  3. Financial aid or scholarship options, if available, are explained to eligible families based on merit or need.

Admission Withdrawal Policy

  1. Parents must submit a written request for withdrawal at least one month in advance.
  2. The school reserves the right to retain the applicable term fee if the student withdraws mid-term.

Admission Terms

The management reserves the right to admit or refuse pupils seeking admission to the school. Similarly, the Management decides when the question of retaining a student in the school arises.

Admission is formally completed only when the form has been filled and submitted to the office, school dues are paid, and the form is signed by the Principal. Please note that writing the entrance test or attending an interview does not necessarily mean that admission is granted.

Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Any attempt to use influence, unfair means, or outside recommendations for admission will lead to automatic disqualification.
